I do not support this…

I do not support this proposal. I think that the responsibility of government, whether provincial, municipal, or federal, cannot and should not be solely to economic development. The government is also responsible for the long term stewardship of both people and nature. Speeding up a development project at the cost of potentially irrevocable and irreversible damage to Ontario's biodiversity is too high a price to pay.

In Ontario specifically and Canada in general, we are incredibly blessed with a hospitable environment. It would be irresponsible and short sighted to endanger that just to speed up a couple of development projects.
