It is a strategic misinterpretation of what "the people' want and need. True innovation doesn't dwell on legacy products and sunset industries.

Laws protecting employment and welfare rights ought not to be abrogated, unless you want to embroil yourself in a legal firestorm down the road. Cutting corners is a recipe for failure.

Industry has shown repeatedly that it is ethically incapable of policing itself without rules. If you take care of people and the earth, the economy will flourish.
