I strongly oppose Bill 5. This legislation threatens Ontario’s wetlands, greenspaces, and environmental protections at a time when we need stronger, not weaker, safeguards. It prioritizes unsustainable development over the long-term health of our ecosystems and communities. As an Environmental Biologist with a background in land and wildlife conservation, I strongly urge the government to withdraw from this bill.
