I strongly request that this proposal be defeated. There is nothing of value to be gained by it, and everything to lose.

We are keepers of the land for our children and generations to come. Removing environmental safeguards sends the message that the natural environment - and everything that lives within it - is something we own and can do with as we please. It is not.

We share this space with far more animals, fish, birds, and plant life than we could ever imagine. And once it's gone it may never come back, or take decades and billions of dollars to restore.
