I am an Ontarian and wish to register my opposition to Bill 5 as proposed. This bill risks significant environmental harm and damage to endangered species in Ontario, does not consider Indigenous rights and the duties of the government to meaningfully consult with and work with First Nations, and harms democracy by exempting projects such as the proposed redevelopment/spa project at Ontario Place from public consultation.
