This is completely unethical.

Removing the rights to public consultation on this project that claims to be for the public good does not make sense.
It is clear this is in response to the public opposing a sewer that would flow out into public use areas along the waterfront. This bill is transparently an attempt to remove any responsibility to take the public good into consideration while ramming through a private deal that Toronto does not want.

Ontario Place park has already been irresponsibly destroyed, bills cannot be passed to allow that destruction to branch out and engulf the city’s remaining public use areas.
