This Bill is a death sentence for our environment. We have lost so many species already and the thought of losing more is truly devastating. This Bill only serves one group of people and ignores the rights and needs of the rest of the people. We are at a critical point with regards to global warming and are taking a step backwards instead of doing what is necessary to reverse climate change. I truly believe that every piece of land that has a develpment proposal needs an environmental assessment to protect the fragile ecosystem that is in the area. Once we get to a certain point there will be no reversing climate change, no bringing back the species of wildlife that are lost they will be gone forever. Even a small increase in global temperatures can mean an increase of severe weather that will bring more flooding, wind damage to people's homes and property. Not to mention loss of life. The government should be serving the people and that means listening to their concerns. PLEASE do not pass this bill!!!
