This bill is way too open…

This bill is way too open ended and while I understand it is targeted at job creation and business development, there is nothing in the Bill that precludes other types of development (i.e., residential, commercial). This type of tool provides too much power to municipalities, especially those in the Outer Ring, to override decades of progressive planning and environmental protections. While I do see the need for minor amendments to some plans and acts, this Bill takes this too far and leaves too much uncertainty in the planning and development process.
