This proposal is outrageous…

This proposal is outrageous and ill-advised. It is undermining of the efforts of millions of Canadians who work each day to build stability, safety, and conscientious practice into their own fields of action, no matter how modest. Modeling this disregard for environment and society is damaging - and going out of fashion as its broader impacts become visible. Workers and land without basic rights & responsibilities - that is not the way to build our economy. We need enhanced solidity and responsible, democratic process. The provincial government has been sidelining due process and responsibility repeatedly in a visible way - Ontario Place environmental assessment being one example.
