I completely disagree with the removal of an environmental assessment requirement for the Eagle's Nest Mine Project. Indigenous rights and consultation are enshrined in law in Canada and it is our moral duty to respect Indigenous land and rights - this exemption flies in the face of these rights and undermine environmental protections for this important ecological and cultural area in our province.
