This is utterly ridiculous. This does not have to do with socioeconomic problems we are facing now. Lots of "critical infrastructure" such as housing that is being built at the moment anyway is too costly, and having more of inaccessible infrastructure does not solve the problem. Now, you are extending it to destroying the environment upon which we depend simply to facilitate profits for developers. An efficient government recognizes that the future we are building towards involves more eco-consciousness and integration of nature with our day to day.
