Comment
I am commenting to express my deep concern about Bill 5 and the Conservative government’s continued efforts to dismantle Ontario’s environmental safeguards.
Fast-tracking major infrastructure projects without proper environmental assessments or Indigenous consultation is irresponsible and dangerous.
Environmental and worker protections are not “red tape.” They’re critical for a healthy, resilient economy and a thriving democracy.
I urge you to reverse course on Bill 5.
Withdraw schedules 2,3, 4 and 9.
Respect indigenous Rights and community led land use planning.
Uphold the Oak Ridges Moraine and other critical conservation plans!
Protect Ontario’s environment. It can not be sacrificed to make money for a few of the already wealthy among us.
We must build responsibly, with the long-term well-being of the environment and the people of this province in mind.
