I am deeply against what this bill stands for. Trying to "unleash the economy" for short-term gains while sidestepping the analyses needed to ensure that it doesn't inflect long-term problems is not responsible stewardship of the province. We cannot skip due process when these decisions impact us and generations to come. I believe that Ontario is most successful when it works in tandem with environmental groups, community groups, and industry groups, and I hope the government will not move forward with this bill.
