The language used in this change of the act is highly damaging to the species at risk within the province; namely the change in definition of how we protect our Endangered plants in the province. This change can lead to the collapse of many ecosystems, which not only protect our communities by cleaning drinking water with wetlands, or aid in maintaining industries like fishing and forestry, but destroy key tourist locations, with many rare and Endangered plants acting as advertising for many of these parks, and add a draw it these locations.
