I am a proud member of the Turtle Protectors / Mishiikenh Gizhaasowin in Toronto.
It is an Indigenous led stewardship program that advocates, supports and protects turtles in High Park , on the Humber River , The Brickworks and various locations All over the city.
I strongly oppose the change to the protected species act .
It does not support the fragile ecosystems that are currently under threat by proposed and current construction projects.
