I oppose shortcuts for industry with no public oversight.
I oppose the cancellation of environmental assessments.
Our statutes and regulations should be written based on input from qualified professionals in related fields. We expect our politicians to rely on science and fact-based research, NOT a politically motivated wish list.
Researchers and scientists who study ecosystems are the professionals who should decide on protections for ecosystems and endangered species, NOT politicians.
This is a dangerous overreach of political power and eerily similar to the undemocratic power grab currently happening in the USA.
