By removing the part of the review process that allows Ontarians the right to comment on and advocate for changes being made to Ontario Place, this government would be removing the Ontario Place project even farther from protections for wildlife, ecosystems and the water that it will be so close by. Let alone removing Canadians' right to share opinions and comments on the project when they may have concerns about the processes being taken. This project, in particular, will not be adding enough to the economy in my opinion to warrant skipping our on Environmental Protections. Ontario will not be saved or protected by skipping over legislation that was put in place to actually protect the ecosystems of the province. Making money is not an excuse to further damage the environment, especially one was vulnerable as a lakeshore in one of our major sources of fresh water.
