I am very dissatisfied with the proposed Bill 5. This is not taking into account the ecological systems of our natural spaces, and prioritizing economic gain.
It is clear that the Ford governing body is neglecting environmental needs for species at risk due to convenience.
It should not be appropriate for politicians to make uninformed decisions that impact entire ecosystems and natural spaces, such as the ability to develop natural spaces without initial restriction, because these pockets of biodiversity are interconnected, already imperiled, and are fundamentally irreplaceable.
