I am against this proposal…

I am against this proposal. The endangered species act should not be removed, and endangered species protections should not be weakened in any way. There is NO good reason that any development should be exempted from environmental oversight, especially where endangered species are concerned. Endangered species are important parts of our environment that must be protected. Laws exist for a reason and need to be followed to make sure a project does not create undue damage and cost to taxpayers and the environment. To do otherwise is reckless and irresponsible. The government should not allow projects by itself or private companies to be above the laws that are in place.
