Not liking at all that you are making changes with the sole purpose of making things easier. Nothing is going to ever change with regard to violators if we keep just making things easier. No pain no gain...People have no personal investment in learning about conservation and laws and responsibilities. Just pay your money and give out licenses like candy. There should be a test similar to the boat card license where you have to follow prompts to continue and read information and provide answers to pass. Seniors and kids should be on a conservation license and vets sport. Kids should have to be with either a parent or a licensed angler to fish without having to get a license. Kids are causing a huge problem in one place I fish by patrolling for bass nests and fishing and catching over them and that park wants to ban fishing for it as well as they are on a restricted area that's a bird sanctuary with no guidance and most don't even know that there are rules in regards to fishing. Parents are just sending kids off with rods and no supervision and to me that's kind defeating the most important part of the process of getting Parents bonding with kids not letting the pond babysit them. I think it's way to easy to obtain already and no accountability for knowing what you are signing for.
