I fully support the transfer of the historical site of Nancy Island in Wasaga Beach to the Ministry of Tourism. The current condition of this site is in ruin. Ontario must support the retention of our Canadian historical landmarks and showcase their importance for our citizens and visitors. I support the efforts of the Town of Wasaga Beach to include a revived site and enhanced museum into their plans for local development.
