Another terrible, short-sighted environmental proposal from this government. The importance of this site to the Piping Plover, an ENDANGERED species, cannot be overstated. The park should maintain jurisdiction over this critical habitat, as some estimates suggest this area produces up to HALF of all piping plovers in the province. To even consider removing this is unthinkable.
