The Town of Wasaga Beach should not take over beach park lands as it is not in best interest of the environment or its residents.
The current council are on a pathway of destruction by developing a small community that does not have the infrastructure to support rapid growth.
The current council wants to take over the provincial waterfront lands to build housing on it. Building private housing will block both towns people and public from accessing the pristine beaches and sunset views of Georgian Bay.
Wasaga Beach infrastructure does not support massive growth. Congestion on local roads is already an issue. There is a lack of adequate healthcare and affordable housing resources for the current population.
Future generations have the right to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach and spectacular views of Georgian Bay.
