This is an extremely bad idea. Especially the transfer of Beach Areas 1&2 over to Town control. Once they have it they will be subject to influence by resident associations of the new townhouses to make both beaches private.
The only way I could support this is if the Province leases Beach Areas 1&2 to the town of Wasaga Beach. Wasaga beach looks after trash pickup, bylaw enforcement etc, with the Province maintaining ownership.
