Land should never be removed from Provincial Parks. It may currently seem like an insignificant amount, however, compounded over time these small removals will significantly decrease the amount of protected land across the province.
I think all residents will agree that Highway 69 bridge does need to be upgraded. However the land that is removed for MTO or CN, should then be added to the park elsewhere, with matching acreage.
No land should be removed from any provincial park for the expansion of a landfill.
