We wholeheartedly support the amendment to allow climbing at Devils Glen. Access to climbing is consistent with the goals of stewardship, recreational access and responsible public use.
The solidification of this policy, is consistent with access opportunities across the province, and provides an added revenue source from parking passes and tourism at local businesses.

One only has to look at examples like Kentucky which evaluated the economic impact of climbers on the local economy, showing that climbers contributed an annual $8.7 million, do local business. With the current explosion of interest in American alternatives, this could be a rare opportunity to seize attention to Devils Glen and the surrounding climbing regions.
