Doug Ford needs to leave Wasaga Beach alone and prioritize the protection of its natural environment. The beach and surrounding parks are home to fragile ecosystems and vulnerable wildlife, including endangered species like the piping plover. Any development or encroachment threatens to destroy habitats, disrupt migration patterns, and permanently alter one of Ontario’s most iconic natural spaces. Wasaga Beach is not just a tourist destination—it’s a sanctuary for animals and a vital green space for future generations. We must protect it from short-sighted decisions and ensure its preservation for both nature and people who cherish its beauty.
