If the transfer from the park to the town goes ahead, I feel it is really important to include requirements that the town actively protect the Piping Plover nesting area. It has taken time to develop, and it is a critically important area for the species. As stewards of the land, both the town and the province need to help protect vulnerable species. The added bonus is that good birding areas attract birders, who will invest in the local economy. Thank you.
