I’m appalled at the attempt to privatize the longest freshwater beach in the world. There is very little public access already to the lakefront, after Covid it’s all been converted to pay parking or no parking. Allowing the town to take over will add more pay parking and less access. What’s to stop development privatizing and completely removing access? Provincial parks belong to us all, and I say again I’m appalled that this is being considered.
