The recreational activities should include rock climbing, and plans should be created to work with the climbing community to identify and maintain climbing routes. Rock climbers are some of the biggest believers and practicers of “leave no trace”. Rock climbers want to ensure ecological and physical protection of the areas they climb in because it not only ensures they - and generations to come - can continue to climb the routes, but also because they have a deep respect for the environment.
