I strongly object to the proposed hunting season on double crested cormorants. There is no scientific justification for controlling the population of cormorants, which are native to Ontario. Further, the 9 month “hunting season” with such a huge daily limit would put humans at risk of being shot by hunters. I urge the government to drop this proposal.
