I am shocked and somewhat disheartened by the ignorant and cruel proposal to hunt cormorants. As if there are not enough problems for birds on the planet? I remember hearing this idea 40 years ago in Georgian Bay where fisherman were convinced that the then few numbers of cormorants were responsible for dwindling fish stocks and others were just unhappy about their poop.
Stop it.
