I am strongly against the proposed hunting season for double-breasted cormorants. It is not fair treatment to allow hunting of a species during its breeding season, which the current proposal would include. This would inevitably result in the loss of parenting birds, leaving helpless chick's I cared for. Furthermore, I cannot see any good reason why we would allow hunting of a species we cannot eat.
