Bill 5 tells the world, Ontarians and fellow Canadians that the Ontario government is a white supremacist organization who prioritizes profit over everything else. This Bill is beyond harmful to the environment, species at risk and reconciliation with Indigenous Nations. Just because you strip species of their risk status, doesn't mean they are suddenly going to be okay. Just because you give an area a "special zoning" classification, doesn't mean that Indigenous Nations have approved digging up their land. This is a gross overreach of power purely for profit of our politicians and their developer friends. It is an insult to think that us Ontarians see it as anything other than that. Stop packaging harmful policies into beneficial opportunities for economic development that will benefit all. Repel Bill 5!!!
