I am so disappointed that the Ontario provincial government continues woth their efforts to impede municipalities in their own transportation planning. The provincial government has shown to be incompetent in developing transportation options that actually solve congestion issues, and continues to come up with expensive and impractical solutions. Cities need to provide options for people to commute, and cycling and micromobility is a viable solution only if safe infrastructure exists. Stop wasting everyones time with ridiculous and expensive ideas like building a tunnel under the 401, and finish the Eglinton LRT. Ontarians want other options to get around, and it is your responsibility to give them those options.
