I have very grave concerns about Bill 5. I protested before it was passed, and its passing has not eased my distress. The changes it enables will be very deleterious to the environment, and we really can't afford any more damage to the natural world. Making things easier for businesses simply lets more enterprises become endangered by the effects of climate change. This government has things all wrong. The first priority is protection of nature, which is the protector of the planet, and thus of us.
Let's face it. Humans have screwed up, especially settlers. We have to stop it. We should not be ignoring indigenous rights, rather we should be supporting them and learning from native peoples how to care for the planet that supports us.
Repeal Bill 5.
