I ride a bike for errands, as a volunteer delivering food to people in need, and for pleasure. This proposal is short sighted, dangerous for democracy and dangerous for people who use roads by means other than a motor vehicle. This is a step in the wrong direction - continuing to promote driving and the supremacy of cars will not at all reduce traffic and gridlock, it will create more of these things.
