Hello, I apologize for not knowing the "safe" limits and the ramifications of our decisions as we "make progress" in our world. Usually we find out only too late of the consequences. Then it gets to be more expensive to remediate, if at all. Because of the possibility of human operational error, whether it is monitored or not, how can we be certain of it's proper operation? Would there be a plan B if any failure were to happen? Would a large settling pond not be better? Something further inland and fenced off.
I hope there are other better ways to treat sewage than dump it into a river. I know this happens in many places around the world and I feel to our own demise. Fish, fauna and the people who ingest such are at risk. I for one. If you were downstream would you like it? I guess it usually doesn't matter unless you are affected by it. Again, I don't have hard facts, but I know it's wrong. Thank you for your time.
