The conceit that bill 60 will have positive environmental impacts is laughable. Reducing motor vehicle lanes discourages driving in favour of far more environmentally friendly transportation means, such as walking, cycling, and transit. Bill 60 will cause more pollution in cities, negatively impacting the environment and the air quality for people living and working in the city.
