Re Bill 60,
Please remove the proposal that no existing road space currently dedicated to bicycles can be repurposed for cycling lanes. There are so many overbuilt suburban roads where bike lanes can be added cheaply by re-striping without having any impact on car traffic flow, helping municipalities to deliver on their approved multi-modal transportation plans. It costs 8-20 times as much to build in-boulevard cycletracks. This government has downloaded so much to municipalities, that they are all struggling to provide even basic services, and now you want to remove the, by far, most inexpensive option for providing safe routes for cyclists? Outrageous!
