I regards to the route proposed in my personal area of Caledon. The route to me appears to been proposed by someone(s) who have never ridden in the area. Particularly the route along Albion Vaughn Road in Bolton. This particular rode is one of the busiest road in the area with heavy truck traffic. Even a bike lane would make the experience very uncomfortable at best.
There are number of routes through Bolton that connect with the Caledon trailway further north. One of these routes can use the newly formed bike path built in conjunction with the new Bolton bypass route. A route more suitable for the recreational rider as it avoids the steep decent into the Humber river Valley and the more painful accent.
If curious. I'm willing to share.
