I oppose this proposal to repeal the Toxics Reduction Act in its entirely. We have the right to breath clean air and drink clean water. It would cost billions of dollars to upgrade water treatment plants to remove the toxins industry could emit with the elimination of this Act. Health Care costs will only increase if pollutants are allowed to increase. So much time and money has already been spent cleaning up the environment, by eliminating this act we are moving backwards in time.
We have the RIGHT to breath clean air and drink clean water!
