This is a regulatory burden worth keeping so that generations of Ontarians have somewhere worth living in 25 years.
Reducing toxic substances is an environmental concern that should always trump economic consideration.
The act was put in place in 2009 for a reason - to establish a sustainable economy in Ontario for future generations. Certainly there is a balance needed between business interests and environmental interests, but this seems reckless.
