This proposal is unreal. The fact that so many people would be packed into such a small area, in an already economically important and sensitive area, is terrible planning. This area is already heavily congested, and is critical to the success of the local area and the general GTA economy (through access of the Oakville GO).
Proceeding with this type of development, when NO CUSTOMERS or RESIDENTS are interested in living in such an environment (e.g., condo sales are at historic lows), is exceptionally irresponsible. It will lead to legal challenges and investigations of the decision makers for improprieties.
The decision makers should proceed with caution as this type of project only benefits a small group and number of people. It is quite transparent.
