I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO.
Local conservation Authorities serve a vital role and must remain LOCAL in nature. There has been no evidence presented that the proposed mergers will actually provide any savings and no demonstrated assurance that vital Local aspect of the conservation areas will be maintained.
The only purpose this appears to serve is to make it easier for developers to sidestep environmental concerns at the cost of Ontario residents for generations to come.
