The importance of local oversight and redundancy is key to protecting our watersheds, local wildlife, and natural resources. Restructuring the system that already works well to cover larger areas and have fewer conservation authorities goes against that very idea. I am strongly against this restructuring and fully support local conservation authorities with local community ties, leadership, and oversight.
