This is wrong and needs to be stopped. This goes against the the original concept of the Conservation Authorities. They were formed for the purpose of watershed and flood management and their boundaries are aligned with specific drainage areas of the majour rivers. Merging them does not make any sense in this regard and will cost more to manage. Also we need planners to have local knowledge. Stop this now!!
