Amalgamating local Conservation Authorities, based on the watersheds involved, and adding another layer of bureaucracy on top is just adding senseless cost to a system that serves the communities well as it is. There is no logical need for this- it doesn't save money and likely makes the decision outcomes less effective and useful for the municipalities who bear the costs of any failures of management. There is no point to this. Waste of time and money in a system that could use both of those things more effectively if you did not make this change.
