- there is an application in with the County and municipality to expand the settlement area boundary on the lands that abut 214 County Road 49 (same owner as 238 County Road 49).
- the abutting lands have an ECA allowing the business and storage of trucks full of septage for 24 hours.
- there appears to be approximately 14 ha of land on the north border of 238 County Road 49 that are outside of the 450 m ECA requirement setback.
- no site plan has been received upon request from the ERO posting, so the request is that the ECA be specific that the spreading activity can be only on those lands outside of 450 m from the settlement area expansion application.
- zoning is NOT in place for either 238 or 214 and this is an integral step that should occur prior to issuing the new ECA.
- the lands on 214 need to be rezoned to a contractor's yard (or other use approved by the Township) and not include the spreading of septage.
