It has been noted that the route with-in the Municipality travel along Petawawa Boulevard (County Road 51) on to Schwanz Road and then onto Laurentian Drive (County Road 25).
Please note that Schwanz Road is a local road, gravel shoulder and the current Road Condition Rating is 3 out of 10 and the Town of Petawawa Asset Management Plan does not contain any upgrades until beyond 2022.
It would be the Town of Petawawa suggestion that the route continue down Petawawa Boulevard (County Road 51) on to Laurentian Drive (County Road 25). This section of Petawawa Boulevard (County Road 51) is schedule to be improved this summer with paved boulevards.
Please contact me if you have any questions, but the Town of Petawawa feels very strongly that this route should be changed.
